How much do data recovery services cost?
It depends on the device, what failed and how fast you need it, so we don’t guess. The evaluation is free. Afterward, we agree with you in writing on your recovery goals and a firm price, and you only pay if we meet those goals. How data recovery pricing works
How do I choose a data recovery company?
Look for real experience, a cleanroom, a written agreement on your recovery goals and price, and no charge unless those goals are met. Gillware has offered all four since 2004, and more than 1,500 IT professionals and repair shops refer their own clients to us.
What if you can’t recover my data?
On standard single-device cases, you don’t pay. Clients only pay when we meet their recovery goals and the price makes sense to them.
What if I decide not to go ahead after the evaluation?
That’s completely fine; the evaluation costs you nothing. If you’d like your device back, we just ask that you cover the return shipping, or we can securely recycle it for you at no cost.
How long does data recovery take?
Standard service usually takes 6 to 10 business days. Priority service, for an additional fee, targets 1 to 2 business days, and our emergency tier works nights and weekends.
Is my data kept private?
Your data is never exposed to the internet, our staff are background checked, recovered data is returned on encrypted drives, and our working copies are verified destroyed one week after you receive your data.
Do you recover photos, videos and documents from Macs and PCs?
Yes. We recover every common file type, including photos (JPG, HEIC and camera RAW), videos, Word and Excel files, PDFs, QuickBooks and other databases, and email archives, from Windows PCs, Macs including iMac and MacBook, and Linux systems.
