Enter the Gillware photo contest
Every month Gillware gives away a small prize to the best customer-submitted recovered photo with description. This is our way of
showing how much we value and enjoy
helping our customers retrieve their precious data. We know that each and every crashed drive
is a disaster and we take personal pride in helping you get it back.
If Gillware has recovered any photos that are particularly meaningful to you, send us an email with a
one-paragraph explanation as to why the photo is important to you and attach the photo. Just send the email to
with the subject "Photo Contest" if you'd like to enter! So get that favorite baby picture, pet picture, wedding photo out - you could be the next winner!
First I just want to say "Thank You" about a million times! I had two hard drives in my computer,
one of them was strictly a back-up of the other. I thought I was covered. Then the unthinkable happened:
both drives failed at the same time! Knowing what was on those drives just made my heart drop through me to
the floor. There was no question I was going to do everything in my power to recover everything I could.
I always heard that data recovery was in the $1,500 - $2,500 range and my internet searches were coming up
with those same figures. But a link to your site also came up showing less than $400 for an easy recovery
with no charge if nothing can be done. After reading your company info and how you got started it seemed
like the perfect fit. I sent my drive off on a Monday and the following week on that Wednesday I had ALL
of my data back in hand (all 60GB!). THANK YOU!!
Recreating my spreadsheets would have been difficult and time consuming, but recreating
learning to ride without training wheels is impossible!
