Every month Gillware gives away a small prize to the best customer-submitted recovered photo with description. This is our way of showing how much we value and enjoy helping our customers retrieve their precious data. We know that each and every crashed drive is a disaster and we take personal pride in helping you get it back.

Each month we pick a winner and give away a $25 gift certificate to an internet retailer.

If Gillware has recovered any photos that are particularly meaningful to you, send us an email with a one-paragraph explanation as to why the photo is important to you and attach the photo. Just send the email to with the subject "Photo Contest" if you'd like to enter! So get that favorite baby picture, pet picture, wedding photo out, it could be worth $25!

Hello and THANK YOU to everyone there at Gillware!!!

You guys are the greatest!!! I knew my hard drive was crashing, but was unable to get the pictures off of it. I made several phone calls and internet searches, but it seemed hopeless with the prices I was seeing. Finally, a technician at Hitachi recommended you saying you had good rates and did high quality work. I had sent a good drive with the crashed one so you could transfer my files, you put everything on the new drive very fast and got it all back to me in just a few short days. The moment I spoke with one of your technicians on the phone I stopped feeling so heartbroken about my pictures being lost forever because I knew there was hope.

My Mom died in 2003 and I had the only copies of pictures that were taken a couple of months before her death. I also had all of my digital pictures from the last 3 years as well. I want to tell you how much I appreciate you retrieving all the data from my hard drive and making me back-ups of my pictures. I wish I could tell you exactly how grateful I am for that, but there are no words that can really describe how happy I was to get it all back. Here are a couple of the pictures that I was so glad to get back, one is of my Mom taken 2 months before she died, with my Grandpa, my sister and her kids. The other one is of my daughter and niece. There are thousands more I could show you, but these were two of my favorites. Thank you so very much again!!! I give you five stars, a thumbs up and A+'s across the board!!!
