Every month Gillware gives away a small prize to the best customer-submitted recovered photo with description. This is our way of showing how much we value and enjoy helping our customers retrieve their precious data. We know that each and every crashed drive is a disaster and we take personal pride in helping you get it back.

If Gillware has recovered any photos that are particularly meaningful to you, send us an email with a one-paragraph explanation as to why the photo is important to you and attach the photo. Just send the email to with the subject "Photo Contest" if you'd like to enter! So get that favorite baby picture, pet picture, wedding photo out - you could be the next winner!

You recovered 1500 out of 1500 images of Burlington, Vermont's Kid's Day Celebration for Burlington Parks and Recreations 2009! This is truly fabulous, wonderful, and terrific for Burlington Parks and Recreations, as well as for me - a 63 year old, diehard photographer-of-children! There just aren't enough words to express how happy & relieved I am that you so perfectly and so quickly resolved the problem with my Mirodrive.

"It's a Wonderful Life!" - thanks to your excellent work. You have saved my contract with Parks & Recreations. Even though they said they wouldn't have "fired" me, my heart was breaking because (1) this was only the second day I had shot for them (2) this is a client I simply love working with and servicing because of the kids I get to hang out with & photograph (3) it's a contract I have truly wanted and needed for many years (4) photography (and videography) are my life blood and "my retirement." (5) digital imaging is new for me & I have had a tough time making the switch from film. So, (6) it was critical that they be recovered, if I was to have the confidence to continue being a professional photographer in the digital age & survive on all levels & in my trade (7) therefore, the images I shot for this kid's day event, needed to be executed beautifully and you guys did this "save" beautifully! (8) My client loves them!
