My personal Black Friday came on March 31, 2006. I pressed the on button on my PC and, as I usually do, walked away to do other things while it booted. A few minutes later I went back to the PC and found it was continually rebooting. To make a long story short, the hard drive had crashed.
I had always intended to make a backup but with the PC being only 4 months old, I hadn't gotten around to it just yet. My husband and sister who are both very tech savvy people tried their best to get the drive to work to a point that data could be recovered. Sadly, it was not possible. There was too much on this drive that meant so much to me to not consider professional data recovery.
I searched the internet and called several places. I received vague information that left me not knowing whether the data recovery would cost $700 or $7,000. Then, I found Gillware. Gillware's straight forward approach to data recovery was the only logical choice - one price if recovery could be accomplished and surcharge if cleanroom was required.
The Gillware staff was professional, courteous and thorough. Fortunately for me, all my important data (photos, documents, game files, MP3's, etc.) was recovered and the process was accomplished on a timely basis.
I'm attaching just one of the many photos recovered. It's a picture of my son (not Princess Leah) from his birthday party April 10, 2005. This party is now referred to as his 1st Annual 29th.
I can't say enough good things about the entire Gillware experience.
Thank you,
Karen W.
