Thank you for your outstanding work in recovering the data from my damaged Epson P-2000 multimedia storage viewer. As a photographer who travels extensively and depends on his data storage devices to protect images which often cannot be replicated, it was frustrating to experience the failure of this particular piece of hardware. And, when Epson informed me that they would not be able to recover the data if I returned the unit for repair, I turned to you in desperation.

At the outset, I was most impressed by your cautious and forthright manner, and from that point on, all the communications I had with your people were professional and clear. Your service was prompt and the cost of the data recovery was very fair and reasonable. Most importantly, the bottom line is that my work was saved and my investment of time and effort was not lost.

This is just one of several irreplaceable images you recovered from a three-day photographic excursion into the slot canyon area near Page, AZ. On the morning of May 19, 2007, I was just beginning my day's work and had not yet made my first exposure. My two photographer friends and our guide had just entered a side canyon off a wide sandy wash. We hadn't walked more then a hundred yards when I spotted these two young owls resting in a small round indentation not more than two feet off the ground in the canyon wall. I stopped our guide and pointed them out to him and my companions immediately started shooting with telephoto lenses.

I had not anticipated encounters with wildlife and, intending to make canyon photographs that required wide-angle lenses, I hadn't brought a long lens with me. I watched the others work and waited. When my friends had made their pictures and were ready to move on, I decided to take my chances with the owls and approached them slowly and cautiously. Surprisingly, I was able to kneel in front of their resting area, place my elbows on the rock in front of the birds as support for my camera and photograph them together and individually, with an 18-35mm zoom lens from a distance of approximately 18-inches. The owls didn't seem at all disturbed by my presence and made no attempt to back away or attack the lens. After making several exposures, I quietly retreated and continued into the canyon.

Thanks to your efforts, I still have the pictures to go with the memory of that experience...and a lot more.
