Every month Gillware gives away a small prize to the best customer-submitted recovered photo with description. This is our way of showing how much we value and enjoy helping our customers retrieve their precious data. We know that each and every crashed drive is a disaster and we take personal pride in helping you get it back.

If Gillware has recovered any photos that are particularly meaningful to you, send us an email with a one-paragraph explanation as to why the photo is important to you and attach the photo. Just send the email to with the subject "Photo Contest" if you'd like to enter! So get that favorite baby picture, pet picture, wedding photo out - you could be the next winner!

This photo is important to me as it is of champion Roger Federer - No. 1 tennis player in the world. This photo was taken during one of his early round matches at the NASDAQ tennis tournament in Key Biscayne FL. It shows his tremendous hustle to get to a "drop shot" and he returned this for a winner!!

The photo was taken with a Sony digital camera with the shutter speed set to 1/1,000's of a second in bright light. I panned with the movement to get the stop action. It is also taken at high res and it retains its clarify on enlargement.
