Every month Gillware gives away a small prize to the best customer-submitted recovered photo with description. This is our way of showing how much we value and enjoy helping our customers retrieve their precious data. We know that each and every crashed drive is a disaster and we take personal pride in helping you get it back.

If Gillware has recovered any photos that are particularly meaningful to you, send us an email with a one-paragraph explanation as to why the photo is important to you and attach the photo. Just send the email to with the subject "Photo Contest" if you'd like to enter! So get that favorite baby picture, pet picture, wedding photo out - you could be the next winner!

Received the DVDs a couple of weeks ago, containing the mission critical data needed to continue extensive volunteer work on behalf of National Wildlife Federation. Thank you for helping me recover from the 'random act of stupid' that led to need for your services. Of course I could blame the cat who knocked the laptop off the table, but a recent backup would have made the kitten's actions a non-issue, right?

I was kept well informed, had enough information to make a decision to retrieve the data. You even sent back the custom drive adaptor I didn't think to remove, so I could mount another drive into the laptop and rebuild. Well done!
