Every month Gillware gives away a small prize to the best customer-submitted recovered photo with description. This is our way of showing how much we value and enjoy helping our customers retrieve their precious data. We know that each and every crashed drive is a disaster and we take personal pride in helping you get it back.

If Gillware has recovered any photos that are particularly meaningful to you, send us an email with a one-paragraph explanation as to why the photo is important to you and attach the photo. Just send the email to with the subject "Photo Contest" if you'd like to enter! So get that favorite baby picture, pet picture, wedding photo out - you could be the next winner!

There were so many precious photos recovered from my crashed hard drive it is hard to pick just one that is the most important. I have narrowed it down to four. The first significant photo has to be my daughters first day of school. She looks so grown up all ready to go to nursery school. This was the first time she was away from my husband's care (a stay-at-home dad) since she was born.

The second photo is our family vacation in Florida. How often do you get to hold a baby alligator? But this trip was more significant that we thought. About 2 weeks after we arrived home, we learned I was pregnant. Which brings me to my third photo. This is me, my daughter and my son (just a few weeks before his arrival (on 12/22) getting ready for the holidays). I was HUGE and it is the only photo of me during my pregnancy. And, finally, my last photo, me and my beautiful new son (about 1 month old) at home.
